It was a good showing for the Carlson Gracie Team at the Pan Ams in Irvine this year. Congratulations to all team members that competed.

Congratulations to all students that recieved promotions this month. There were several stripes and belts awarded by the instructors for April. In Judo, Sensei Jones awarded belts to folowing students from Left to Right: Bryan Donovan – Brown Belt, Lance Cacanindin – Orange Belt, Corey Pier – Orange Belt, Johnny Diegleman – Yellow Belt and Moses Sewell – Yellow Belt.
In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Master Carlson and Professor Joao awarded the following belts: Justin Brown – Yellow Belt, Thomas Hayson – Yellow Belt, Alexis Dufresne – Blue Belt, Freddy Iyengar – Blue Belt, Mathew Jankay – Blue Belt, Lance Cacanindin Blue Belt, Tommy Spillman – Yellow Belt, Orlando Alonso – Purple Belt, Scott Larsen – Brown Belt.
Special thanks to our good friend Black Belt Bruser Neal for attending the belt promotions and adding in some highlight Judo throws on the students.
